Poll Everywhere general workflow:
Step 1. Login at https://www.polleverywhere.com
Step 2. Click Create or the + button from the left bar to start creating questions.
Tips: Newly created poll will be put under Ungrouped. You may want to group questions that belong to the same session so that the setting and report can be set and generated together.
Step 3 (if required). Import students as participants. This is if you want to track students and their responses.
You will be required to use Poll Everywhere excel template when importing your students. This excel has a first name and last name column. Since the class list from IVLE or LumiNUS does not separate students' names by first and last name, it is recommended that you put students' names in the first name column and their NUS userid in the last name column.
After you have import your participants, you can restrict your polls to registered participants:
- Select your group.
- Click Edit.
- On Who can participate? option, set it to Restrict to registered participants only.
- Click Apply.
Step 4. Do either one of the following:
Option 1: Insert the poll into PowerPoint, Key note, or Google Slides and then run the slides. Make sure the plugin for the software has already been installed in the computer that you use to create and present the slides.
