A few students have encountered an issue where they have issues opening a download of a submitted file because the file is corrupt.

In the cases reported at the time of writing, CIT has been unable to reproduce the error.

It is likely to be a Microsoft Word-related issue on the users' computer.

You can follow the steps below.

Students

  1. Rest assured, if you can download the digital receipt, it means that your file was submitted successfully. The digital receipt is proof of submission.
  2. If you are allowed to view the similarity report (if you are not sure, check the settings for the folder on the Summary tab), click the title of the submitted paper or the similarity index percentage to view the report. You should be able to see your paper.
  3. If you are worried that your instructor cannot open your submitted paper, drop him/her a note and ask him/her to test downloading and opening your paper.

Instructors

  1. Please take note of the above instructions for students.
