Make sure the folder is open

Before you go into Folder Settings, you can check the (1) Folder Opens and (2) Folder Closes dates. These are listed in columns, next to the respective folder. For the folder to be open, the current date must be between the Folder Opens and Folder Closes dates.

You will also see the word Open, if the folder is open.

If the folder is closed, you will see (1) Closed, as well as the (2) item visibility indicator.

If need to edit the dates or the permissions, enter Folder Settings, as described in Access Folder Settings below.

If the folder is within other folders, also check that the parent folder(s) is/are open.

Just because a folder is open does not mean that all your students can view and access it.

You will want to Access Folder Settings and check the Permissions as well.

In Folder Settings, click Permissions.

You will see various options that you can check. The options you see will vary from the screenshots below, depending on the types of groups in your modules.
