ICT stands for Information and Communications Technology or technologies. It is an umbrella term that includes all  technologies for the manipulation and communication of information. It has been commonly adopted by everyone in present society due to ncreasing awareness. Information Technology (IT) is closely linked to ICT, especially in educational and political issues. ICT ranges from various forms of media mainly for broadcasting information (television & radio) to other aspects that provide communication visually and verbally (mobile phones, land telephones, cameras). Computing hardware and softwares like (PCs, laptops, wire & wireless network, servers) are also considered as useful tools for transmitting information and communications. ICT could be easily operated by anyone, from an individual (local home network) to a group (international commercialised network shared among nations).
