Audio Recording Guide

Using Audacity to create audio lecture (mp3) files

Audacity is a free, open source audio recording and editing software which is available on Windows, Mac and Linux.

This guide shows you the steps to creating an audio lecture (mp3) file which you can place in IVLE to accompany your slides. This may be useful in circumstances when you are not able to deliver lectures in person on the scheduled lecture date. Advanced users may even record audio from their lectures for dissemination, archival and review.
