Mammals

Mammals are warm-blooded vertebrates in the class Mammalia, and are characterised by the possession of mammary glands with which they secrete milk to feed their young, fur or hair, as well as a neocortex and three middle ear bones. Mammals are currently among the dominant terrestrial animal groups today, with the most successful mammal of all being Homo sapiens, human beings.
