Once a module is created, the Module Details > Description will create the sections from NUS Bulletin for the following 6 items:

  • Description
  • Pre-requisites
  • Co-requisites
  • Preclusions
  • Workload
  • Modular Credits

If there's any change in the info in Bulletin, you can click on Refresh from EduRec button.

You are not able to edit such information from Bulletin. You can only unpublish them.

If there's a need to update the info, please update in the source (Bulletin), and then refresh it in LumiNUS.

Below is the workflow on how new modules and changes to modules are being updated:

  1. For new modules and changes to existing modules that require BUS’ approval,
  • Faculties will have to submit module proposals for BUS’ consideration. These modules will be considered via BUS meetings/circulars.
  • Upon BUS’ approval, RO colleague(s) (handling regupd) will pick up the proposals for new modules/changes made to existing modules for updating.
  • Once the updates are completed, RO colleague will email the relevant faculty administrator(s) to verify details of the new modules created or changes made to existing modules.
  • The updating process is completed once the faculty administrator(s) verify the module details.

2. For module changes that do not require BUS’ approval,

  • Faculties will have to submit a Request Tracker (RT) directly to regupd, detailing the specific fields/details that need to be updated.
  • RO colleague(s) will pick up the RTs and, once the updates are completed, email the relevant faculty administrator(s) to verify the changes made to existing modules.
  • The updating process is completed once the faculty administrator(s) verify the module details.
