Question

My IVLE page has been loading very slowly when I open module folders, forum and also when downloading documents starting this semester. However, I'm not too sure what is the problem.

Solution

In order to understand the situation better, appreciate if you can perform the following steps when you encounter slowness.

You may be prompted to install Microsoft Silverlight, just click on the first link at the top of the page to install it.

  • Start a web browser (IE, safari, chrome, firefox)
  • Goto http://www.cit.nus.edu.sg/test
  • enter your nusnet userid
  • for reference code, enter your internet service provider and broadband speed and
  • click on Begin
  • Wait until you see the submission sent prompt
