If you have more than one question, you will have to inform your students of the relevant code for that particular question.

Using questionSMS website

1. Before you lecture starts, log in to the questionSMS website.

2. Click SMS Response on the sidebar.

3. Check the questions that you want to display.

4. Click View Selection.

5. Your questions can be viewed through a tabbed interface. The website will update automatically once the questionSMS receives SMSes from the students. Click Refresh if there are no updates.

Info

If you allow students to ask you questions via SMS, there is a check box next to each question which allows you to indicate whether you have responded to that question.

Info

For poll questions, Check to list all student responses to poll allows you to see all responses, other than the choices you provided.

E.g. You gave the options True and False, but a student replied T. By default, that response will not be shown unless you check this option.

Using your slides

Each You will have designed your slides such that each question will appear on the slide with the appropriate instructions for the students to SMS their answers i.e. the question, phone number, SMS code and format.

You can switch to a browser to display the results immediately. Otherwise, you can view the results after the lecture.
