Most concerts associated with Mdm. Lucien Wang were usually concerts organized by her for her students to gain experience performing in public. Some concerts were for fundraising causes, such as the YMCA Swimming Pool Fund concert. She often invited famous musicians to give talks to her students.
In 1946, Mdm. Wang's vocal compositions and her student performances were featured in a concert held for the unfortunate families affected by the Japanese Occupation. That was the first time Mdm. Wang presented her vocal compositions written during the Japanese Occupation. These songs were performed by members of a church choir. Her songs included: «» (Pining), «To A Missing One» (???????) and «?»(Why not return), which were performed as soprano solos. The songbook «???»(New Songs), jointly produced by Mdm. Wang and featuring several of her songs, was also sold before and during the concert, and the proceeds were used to help those of her pupils who had lost their fathers to the war [11].
Mdm. Wang was invited by her piano teacher Alfred Cortot, one of the most renowned 20th-century classical musician, to be the first Asian in the panel of examiners for the Paris Conservatory. It was considered as an honor and accolade of first order. In remembrance of her teacher's 100th birthday (although Cortot passed away when he was 85), she held a concert.
In 1983, Mdm. Lucien Wang's students put up a concert in celebration of their teacher's 40 years of musical education. In the same year, Mdm. Wang led the Heralds Choral Society to its first performance in Beijing. The Chinese audience enjoyed the performance immensely.
In 1988, "An Evening of Drawing Room Musical Soiree", organised by the "Guy La Grup" and Ms Pauline Tan, saw Mdm. Lucien Wang invited as the guest-of-honour. Following that in 1989, they organised another concert named after Mdm. Lucien(ne) Wang, although Mr Ho Weng Hee was the only performer who studied under Mdm. Wang.
