Modules Tab

The Modules Tab shows you all the modules and tools you own and manage, both active and inactive.

It is similar to what your students will see, except that:

  • they will not see unpublished modules/tools
  • they will only see modules for which they are officially registered

You can:

  • click a module to see the module description5
  • click an individual tool to view the respective tool6

Legend

The ownership and management of each module and tool are denoted by colour:

  • Orange shows that you own the modules/tools.
  • Blue shows that you manage the modules/tools.

Colour also indicates if the module or tool is active (students can view) or inactive (students cannot view):

  • Black shows modules/tools that are active.
  • Grey shows modules/tools are inactive.

Tools Manager

The Tools Manager allows you to

  • view your tools by module, and
  • mass manage your tools.

From here, you can manage:

  • Publish and Unpublish status
  • Open and Expiry Date
  • Access permissions (Tools only)

Click to access.

Class Roster

On the modules tab, click of a module to view the respective Class Roster7 . A pop-up window will appear.

1. Click to email all the students in the module.

2. Click a student's name to send email to directly to the student.

3. Click to view the student's profile.

Module Timetable

You can choose either to display or not display the timetable from Module - Preferences.

1. Select Module.

2. Export timetable to Excel file.

3. Print timetable.

Anonymous Feedback

Anonymous Feedback is optional. You can configure Anonymous Feedback in Module - Preferences.

Anonymous Feedback, as the name implies, allows students to send you feedback without identifying themselves (if you enable this feature)8 . Your students will see a pop-up, similar to the one below.

Consultation Times

You can set your consultation times in Module - Consultation Hours and Project - Consultation respectively.

7 If you do not see the Class Roster, it may because (a) there are no students for this module in the current semester, (b) module registration is still ongoing, (c) the module is not offered in the current semester or (d) the module code is not official.
